Mohamed Amira is a lecturer in Biotechnology and Molecular biology in biotechnology department, Institute of Graduate Studies and Research, Alexandria University, Egypt since 2010. She got her Ph.D in Environmental and Industrial Biotechnology in 2010. She had a postdoc. visit in Institute of Biochemistry for Enzyme Catalysis in Greifswald, Germany 2013. Her research highlights are confined to two broad area in Biotechnology; Environmental Biotechnology and Industrial Biotechnology using microorganisms either wild type or genetically modified. She is interested in production of enzymes of microbial origins that have either industrial or biomedical applications. Moreover, her research focuses on valorization of environmental wastes for production of beneficial product such as biofuels , food, enzymes , etc.
